You may remember my heartbreak last year at the news that Domino magazine was no more.. If not, you can read here.  I’m constantly pulling out my old copies to look at something and have been scouring yard sales and the internet for the 3 copies that I’m missing.  One of the saddest things about Domino’s demise that all of their online content disappeared as well.

Well…… I just read that brides.com has acquired Domino’s archives and will be posting them online shortly!  In fact, some are already there!  Click here to see what brides.com has so far.

Speaking of design, has anyone been watching this season of ‘Design Star’?  I’ve loved this show in the past, but have been a little underwhelmed so far with this season.

Exciting! Yeah, I’ve been watching but it isn’t as exciting as it has been in the past! The challenges are pretty lame as of yet. Hopefully it gets better :)

    P.S. The site looks great!

many of my favorite magazine disappeared last year :( total bummer. I think I may have close to every issue of domino. I now find myself buying old issues of Mary Englebreit’s Home Companion and Cottage Living at the antique mall 😉 why is it that the good ones went under and so many crap ones are still going strong? (I am totally not bitter 😉 )

Christine! You’re blogging, and I love it! Your new layout looks fantastic. I’ve never heard of Domino, but I love looking at houses that are cooler than mine so I might just have to check out those archives. And yeah, I’m not too impressed with Design Star. I watched a full episode for the first time last night, and it seemed like they skimped on design footage and replaced it with drama.
